Description
Fragile Heart for Unconventional from PonyIsland.
Fragile Heart has mixed-media wings. Their basic construction was card, coated in three layers of embossing powder, then dusted with PearlEx Antique Silver Mica powder to create a metallic effect and green chalk pastel to give them a weathered look. The ends are texture paste and red chalk pastel to mimic dried blood. I used mini and micro brads to mimic bolts on the wings. A chest and back piece were also made in a similar fashion.
She was also repainted with Jo-Ann acrylics, and given a headdress of chains and pearl-tipped pins. She was rehaired with Dollyhair Black Magick and Volcano, and sealed in Mr Hobby spray matte sealant. Her eyes also got a little Glow-in-the-Dark coating as a surprise to her new owner.
